Conversion Coming April 2024

Our core processor system upgrade will be coming in Spring 2024. This conversion will include major changes to our staff-facing computer program and member-facing remote tools (online services, audio response, mobile app, etc.). Due to circumstances out of our control, CECU will need to close Monday, April 1 and Tuesday, April 2 for the conversion.

Visa Conversion Update (4/27):
Due to the credit card conversion this weekend, it has come to our attention that transactions using the visa credit card chip are currently not working. You can still use your Visa credit card by swiping or entering in Visa credit card information at merchant or online. Some cards are being declined in error, regardless of payment method. We are working diligiently with our vendor to correct the issue. Watch here for updates.

Post Conversion Updates:

  • You will need to enroll online for our new service one time. You can enroll here. To enroll, please use your 5-digit member number.
  • Our new mobile app can be found in the Apple App store or Google Play store
  • CECU Visa Credit Cards will not be available on our new until after that conversion on 4/26. Members can call the number on the back of the card or CECU for assistance.
  • Remote deposits are currently having an issue posting to member accounts. We are working diligently with our vendor to correct this issue.

Other items to remember:

  • Online banking and the mobile app will be unavailable starting at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 29. Once available midmorning of Wednesday, April 3, members will need to reenroll for the service. Please see our instructions to help with reenrollment.
  • Debit cardholders will have limited access to funds, starting on Friday, March 29, which could last through Tuesday, April 2. We encourage you to withdraw cash ahead of time to prepare for this downtime.
  • Previous online statements will no longer be available, so we advise saving and/or printing your latest statement before Friday, March 29. All members will get a paper statement for the cycle dated March 31, 2024.
  • Bill pay service will be unavailable from Monday, March 25 until Tuesday, April 2. No payments will be able to be made during this time. Recurring payments will happen as scheduled, unless the date is during this downtime window.
  • Telephone banking vendor and phone number will be changing. The new number will be 833-570-8693 available after noon on Wednesday, April 3. Members will need to set up a new PIN to use for this system. Please see our instructions to help with accessing and using the new system.

Special Credit Card Note: In mid-May, CECU credit cardholders will receive new cards with new numbers. You will need to activate the new card and begin using it by Thursday, May 30. After this date, your old CECU credit card will no longer work.
