CECU offers Debt Protection with Life Plus optional coverage on consumer loans, home equity line of credits and credit card accounts. For a small fee, you can assure peace of mind during life's unexpected events. This fee can be added to the loan balance each month.

LifePlus - If a protected borrower passes away, the loan balance will be cancelled. Coverage also provided for accidental dismemberment, terminal illness, hospitalization, family medical leave, and the loss of life for a non-protected dependent.

Disability - In the event of illness or injury, the loan payments could be cancelled until you return to work.

Involuntary Unemployment - If a covered job loss occurs, your loan payments could be cancelled until new employment is found.
